The Confident Yogi: Teaching Beginners
teach yoga to beginners and beyond with confidence
The Confident Yogi is an online course for new yoga teachers looking to enhance their skills and confidence around teaching yoga to beginners and beyond.
Beginners and all-levels classes can be the most challenging yoga classes to teach. As a new teacher, you're still getting used to the verbal cues, working the room, creating playlists and settling into your new role. Throw in a handful of brand new students who know nothing about yoga mixed a few advanced yogis who have been practicing for many years, it can be a bit overwhelming knowing what to do.
I know. I've been there. I remember the struggles of being a new yoga teacher. I jumped into teaching head first, without realizing what I was actually doing.
And now I know it doesn't have to be so hard.
In this course, you'll increase or refresh your knowledge in the foundational aspects of yoga. Not only that, you'll get access to any and all changes and updates as we continue to enhance this course that acts as a bridge from YTT to Confident Yogi. You'll start to develop the confidence to share yoga with anyone in any environment. You'll even get the how-to on teaching online yoga!
Inside the course, you'll get:
- 6 beginner yoga video lectures, 10-25 minutes long
- 6 simple lesson guide printables
- 24 basic yoga pose PDF
- 35-minute beginner yoga video
- Links to other yoga practice videos
- Lifetime access
As a bonus, you'll get access to my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Manual – a $250 value and NOT available anywhere else.
This course has just enough content that you could get through all of the lessons in a day (for now), but you'll have all the time you want. Yoga is a lifelong journey. Take your time and come back to the material when the time is right.

Ashley Hagen (E-RYT), started practicing yoga in 2010 to help improve her performance as a college athlete. In 2013, after experiencing the benefits of a daily yoga practice, she received her 200-hr yoga teacher certification and began teaching vinyasa yoga, the most accessible style of power yoga. She is inspired by all movement styles including martial arts, calisthenics, running, weight lifting and dance. Her classes and workshops are fun, yet challenging with focus on finding the yogi warrior within. She currently owns and manages Ashes Yoga Studio in Poulsbo, WA, and also leads 200 hour yoga teacher trainings.
